Streax Canvoline Hair Straightening Cream (500gm)

Instructions: Always read the instructions before starting a hair straightening treatment. Avoid use on people who are sensitive or allergic to straightening or perming products. Do not carry out any straightening treatment if the skin on the scalp is irritated or broken. The use of Streax® Professional Canvoline® Hair Straightening Cream is not recommended for hair that has been bleached, or straightened with a relaxer containing Lye or Guanidine Carbonate, or on metallic dye colour treated hair. Do not apply Streax® Professional Canvoline® Hair Straightening Cream within 6 weeks of a previous application. Use only plastic tools. Do not twist hair during Streax® Professional Canvoline® Hair Straightening treatment. 1 . Analyze Hair : Assess hair quality and select either Intense (0) or Mild (1), accordingly. 2. Hair Wash: Wash the hair gently with Streax Professional Lovely Hair Purifying Shampoo. Do not massage the scalp. 3. Application: Wear suitable gloves. Start sectioning the hair at the nape of the neck, and apply Streax® Professional Canvoline® Hair Straightening Cream onto the hair with a brush; leaving atleast 1 cm from the roots. Distribute evenly by applying the cream through the lengths of your hair using your fingers. Work efficiently to keep the application time to not more than 20 minutes. 4. Straightening boards: Use straightening boards for problem areas when required. 5. Application time: 20 minutes. Development time: 20-45 minutes. 6. Elasticity Test: Check for elasticity after 15 minutes of the straightening cream application. Take a test strand and stretch to check elasticity. If you can stretch the hair approximately twice as much as normal, the process is complete. If the development is not completed after maximum time, rinse the already processed parts. 7. Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water for at least 5-8 minutes till water runs clear and all the straightening cream is removed. Flat ironing of hair 1. After rinsing, blow dry hair, leaving them slightly moist. Comb hair and section into parts. 2. Do not keep the flat iron on any one spot on the hair for too long, as this may result in hair damage 3. Continue flat ironing the hair till all the hair is straightened. Neutralizing: 1. After ironing of the hair is complete, gently comb the hair as smooth and straight as possible with a wide tooth comb. 2. Divide the hair into sections again (each horizontal section 1 cm thick and 5 cm wide), and start applying the Streax® Professional Canvoline® Neutralizing Cream directly to the hair with a brush. 3. Evenly saturate the hair with the Canvoline® Neutralizing Cream from root to tip. Comb the hair straight, during application. 4. Do not tangle the hair. Pin back the hair lightly,without tension if necessary. Use the same amount of Canvoline® Neutralizing Cream as the Canvoline® Hair Straightening Cream. 5. Development time for Canvoline® Neutralizing Cream : 15 minutes. Process under normal room temperature. 6. Rinsing: Rinse it out thoroughly with lukewarm water. Towel dry the hair. 7. Finish: Do not pull, tangle or tie up the hair. Use a round brush or straightening iron to style hair as per desire.
